I am a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. I enjoy each role for what it contributes to my life and I have written on each of these! I began writing as a teenager, mainly poetry and inspirational pieces. My passion is writing about my life experiences. There is so much power and emotion and release in words. Many years ago I won second place in the inspirational category for Christian Writers Assocation. I was elated! Recently, I began work on a screenplay, a new outlet for me.I am excited to see how it will evolve. I have attended several writing classes and enjoyed sharing my works and being critiqued, thus my joining helium.com!

He has traveled the journey of life with me. From the time I was a babe in a crib to my current life at 52, my teddy bear, "Bru Bear", is still with me. In many ways, he is a survivor, just like me. He has survived a toddler's play, many years of moving, being packed away in storage, and the decision on whether to keep or toss. He is a handsome bear, black and white, with a steel button nose.
