About me

Writing articles- inparticular about music and film- is something I have been doing ever since I begun studying Media at college in 2002. I would like to think when I write, I bring significant knowledge, creativity and enthusiasm to my subject matter.

I studied Media and inparticular Film and Music Studies at University. Film is a genuine passion of mine and I have a wide range of films that appeal to me. From Neo-Realist pieces such as Bicycle Thieves through to modern classics such as Memento and Fight Club, my interest in film is eclectric to say the least.

Creative writing was a favourite aspect of my educational life, and I love the opportunity of writing about subjects that are of interest to me, as well as researching and learning of those I do not have current particular extensive knowledge of. I have had previous experience in film features and reviewing in both college and University newspapers, as well as having features printed whilst on work experience at The Birmingham Evening Mail.

In addition, I also song write, having written over 80 songs. I am currently an entrant in the 2008 UK sonwriting contest, and is something I have a real passion for.

With this in mind, the question is would The Dark Knight live up to the hype no matter how good it was? The answer against all the odds, is yes. The Dark Knight is a rari...
