I live in a small town near Nottingham, England. I work full time in the Information Technology and Education spheres.

I have numerous interests and hobbies including, reading, painting in oils, gardening, walking and travelling, listening to music, dancing, not to mention socialising with friends and family. In fact virtually anything interests me from time to time.

I am passionately interested in the world around me and like many people I am worried about climate change and global warming and do my best to reduce my impact on the environment around me.

I got interested in Helium and contributing to the website when I was helping a friend to find ways of generating income and working from home. So far I think I have contributed more articles than they have! Since coming on here I have sold several articles to magazines and I'm slowly beginning to regard myself as a serious writer!
