I'm a Christian, a part-time (new) writer, a budding novelist (I'm dreaming!), and a full-time domestic engineer (stay-at-home mom). I've received a B.A. in Communications, and a Master's in Education. I've been a high school English, Speech, and Music teacher, but feel my most important post to date is raising my little boy. I love to write, but this is my first attempt at letting people, other than family and friends, read what I've written. I haven't won any awards or have any amazing accolades. I'm just excited to have a chance to put my thoughts on paper. Thanks for reading!

is the love of my family and some amazing experiences in my life.
As a first time mom, I was one of those people that followed the pediatrician's instructions to the letter. When my son was about six months old, his doctor told us that because of the dramatic increase in peanut allergies in children, the recommendation was to keep him away from peanuts until he was at least two or three years old if at all possible.
