: About Me

I am a 48 year old woman who has loved to write since I was a little girl. Writing helped me cope with the loss of my father at an early age. Both my sister and I wrote, my sister writing beautiful poetry while I wrote stories or funny poems. I have been married for 32 years to a wonderful man and we have three beautiful, loving and talented children. Our son is 22, and our daughters are 19 and 18. They are the joys of our life, especially since we thought we might never have children. Fortunately, God answered my prayers not only once but 3 times and I thank Him for them every day. I have a wonderful family. A mother who I admire for raising two children on her own after losing the love of her life and a sister who has shown courage and strength throughout her life. My husband, who never lets anything keep him down and keeps going no matter what. Loving in-laws and a passel of nieces and nephews. Three special nieces who we think of as adopted daughters. They are my sister's children but also my husband's brother as well so that makes them and our children double cousins. I have adopted my sister's grandchildren as well, four in particular who I see quite a bit. The oldest one calls me G-Mom and it makes me smile. Someday, I hope to be as lucky as my sister and have grandchildren as beautiful and wonderful as hers are. I love being with family, certain television shows, reading and writing fanfiction and making fan videos and family videos as well. I love expressing myself, as my family will tell you, and also love being creative and I would like to make new friends who share the same passion for writing that I do.

to be a mother cause I've always loved kids and to be like my sister, who was my idol.

I have many, but I have to say the birth of our three children, one of them being born at home and delivered by my husband.

Because I love to be creative.

I have to admit that I do not watch a lot of the television programs that are running today.  Most of these seem to be reality shows of some type and I am not a big fan of these types of shows.  Reality is around me every day.  When I turn on the television, I want to lose myself in a fantasy world of some type whether it is in a hospital, a federal office building or some other type of office - just as long as the writing is good, the actors are better and there are handsome men involved.
