My passion is ...
Expressing my thoughts, desires, hopes, and dreams through the art of writing.
I know too much about ...
life on the streets.
My parents always told me ...
to keep my head up high and keep on steeping.
My childhood ambition ...
to become an professional singer with a contract at Motown.
My favorite memory ...
My favorite memory takes me back to the day I gave birth to my daughter. My ex and I were swimming at Belle Isle when my water broke. He whisked me away to the hospital and within thirty minutes my daughter all pink and pretty lay in my arms reaching out for me.
Why I write ...
I enjoy describing scenes detailed so the booklover can witness my vision. I love to vent, ramble, express my opinion, give advice and just plain create.
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
I am re-reading "Daddy Cool" by: Donald Goines/ watching: LA Confidential/ listening to Luther Vandros, "If Only for One Night. Today I am working on my third novel: 'The New Don,' Story of a Gangsta Princess.
My first job ...
My first job; I was 16 and worked at Michigan Central Train Station on Michigan. I was a soda jerk.
My best moment ...
My best moment came when I held my first novel, "Once & Again" in my hot little hands signed a copy and sold it to my first customer.
My inspiration ...
I cut my teeth on writers like Jacqueline Susanne and Mark Twain, but it took Donald Goines to show me that I was good enough to make mu dream come true to see my name in print.
