I am originally from California, but lived in Texas for most of my life and now reside in upstate New York. I am married with no children except three cats and a misunderstood dog. For the last couple of years people have been telling me that I communicate through words very effectively and efficiently so I am deciding to give writing a try. I have no formal training, but am taking a great liking to it. I have tried blogging and it really does nothing for me it just seems like ranting. Now don't get me wrong I am very opinionated and I do verbalize an occasional rant, although my wife would same more than occasionally.
I have done quite a few different occupations in my life including retail management, rock 'n' roll musician, hotwalker, antique dealer and more. How does that U2 song go "and I still haven't found what I'm looking for".
My favorite pastime or hobby is horse racing. I know that there are a lot of screwed up aspects of this industry and there are some horrible people involved in it, but I choose to take a proactive approach and lobby for equine rights through various websites and charities. The sport itself to me is the most beautiful, graceful and powerful spectacle in all of sports.
I also love to cook. Cooking is a great creative outlet for people and I am addicted to Food Network. Not so much Emeril. I once made a fish with Worchestsire sauce and pecans recipe of his. ECKKKKKK!Disgusting. Sorry Emeril thaT was not a good one.
In summation I would say I am a caring, sensitive and sometimes a bit selfish person with a strong creative side that allows me to dream big without getting down from failure.
Just a side note I don't like liquor, but I love a cold beer on a hot day and a nice bold red wine on a cold winters night. Just kidding, I like beer and wine all the time(within reason)!

German Shepherd and Great Dane in their pure bred forms are beautiful elegant working dogs. The Great Dane and all Dane-type dogs orgins can be traced to the highlands of Tibet. They were called Boar Hounds because they hunted Boar, but in the 16th century they were also called English Dogges. The German Shepherd is known for its ruggedness, intelligence and its ability to work a specific job. In 1889 Captain Max von Stephenitz registered the first German Shepherd named Horand on Grafrath. So what would happen if you cross these two awesome animals. My dog Gracie is the answer. She is what...
