I presume now that i am 20 I am supposed to know exactly who I am, what I'm doing and where I am going with my life. Now I am 20 I have all the answers to my personality and future.
That is what is expected...?
We leave school at 18. But even before then we are supposed to know which one subject in the whole world we wish to continue onto for the next 3, 4 or even 7 years. And perhaps then take on as a career for the rest of our lives.
Well I am in the new generation of "I don't know what I am doing, or where I am going."
I have a very normal family of mum, dad and sister. Have been blessed with a beautiful and productive upbringing. I have never been "grounded", have never been spoiled in shiny plastic useless gifts, i have been fed well and generally been quite lucky in life.
One piece of my own history which will mark my mid teenage years forever and which i believe has made me who I am today was being diagnosed with CFS (ME) 6 years ago.
I am lucky to be among the few sufferers of CFS who no longer feels the burdens of the symptoms at all. I like to believe i have fully recovered (even though apparently you never do - will discuss this in another article... much to be said!)
My current situation in life is debating whether an acting career is truly for me, whether I'd be better suited teaching primary education (another passion) and whether my boyfriend and I will ever find the money to go back to Thailand or even make the bold move to live in Australia.
