I am a freelance writer based in Newport, South Wales, where I live with my husband and two small children. I write non-fiction articles on Wales and Rhodes, which are two places close to my heart, as well as about scuba diving entertainment and cats. I have been published in my local magazine The Rogerstone Directory, The Observer newspaper and I write a regular column for Kennel & Cattery Management magazine.
I love to draw on the knowledge I have of Wales and Welsh life after spending most of my life living in Wales. I have also spent a year and a half living on the Greek island of Rhodes where I have been going on holiday for over 26 years and so I also often write about my experiences with Greek culture.
Scuba Diving is my greatest passion next to writing and something I never tire of and try to learn as much as possible about.I am currently training to be a PADI Dive Master and worked as an underwater videographer during my time in Greece.
The regular column I write from Kennel and Cattery Management draws on the experience of my family running a boarding cattery, covering issues that catteries have to deal with and interesting stories we have of our own experiences.
For entertainmnet articles I draw on my MA in Film & Television Studies and English Literature which I obtained from the Universtiy of Glasgow. I have a particular interest in writing about television programmes and their depiction of modern society.

And in fact, with the unfortunate exception of the way the euro has jacked up the prices, very little has changed over the years. To make the most of your stay on the island there are a few day trips you don't want to miss and a few exp...
