: About Me

I have spent the bulk of my working life in the homebuilding industry. I have worked primarily for large national builders trying to turn the art of homebuilding into as much of an assembly line as possible, for which I hope to escape with a few hundred million years in purgatory after I die, less time off for good behavior. I am currently trying to become a high school science or math teacher. I have the content area credits, but need to pick up a few more education classes. I started writing here to help organize thoughts and improve the way I convey information.

After a few false starts over the years, the electric car appears poised to fulfill its promise. While some technological problems remain to be worked out before it can fully supplant the internal combustion engine, the  electric car now offers sufficient power, range, comfort, and style to challenge conventional automobiles in certain markets.
