About me - Lolly Lijewski

About me

I am a person with disabilities and have been an advocate for people with disabilities for nearly three decades. I wrote a column on disability culture in Minnesota's Disability Community newspaper for five years.

Currently I develop and produce communications products for Pathways To Employment (PTE) a federal grant designed to increase the employment of people with disabilities in Minnesota.

I am sharing my life with my fifth guide dog and two cats.

My passions are; writing, animals, disability culture and activism, music, (primarily jazz, blues and folk) trying new restaurants, politics, social justice, city life, and spirituality.

I was raised Catholic but I am a convinced Quaker and am a member of a Meeting In Minneapolis.

I come from a large family, which continues to grow and provides me with a rich tapestry of experience.
