I am working from behind a laptop in Whitstable, a small but popular seaside town located in Kent, England.
Over the last 10 years, I have allowed my regular job to stand in the way of my writing aspirations. Recently, a change of job came at the same time as discovering Helium and I am able to write on a regular basis again.
I aim to post articles on a regular basis and look forward to finding out more about the Helium community and how our writing futures will unfold.
It's the same old routine isn't it? Wake up, shower, eat breakfast with a feeling of impending doom about the day ahead, step wearily into the car/bus/train and make your way to the place where you will spend a substantial part of your life. You've just arrived at work yet again and are already counting down the minutes until you can leave to return home and be yourself again. Working five days a week on a full-time basis for forty years of our life equates to being in the workplace for over 76,000 hours.
