About me - Nathan Schwepler

About me

The good news for you is that I am a husband and a dad. That way I get to show off a picture of my family in which you can hardly see me.

The tragedies of my life begin and end in thin. All of my clothes make me look too thin, and every hair style I try makes my hair look thin. With those trivial tragedies as my biggest complaints in life, I am in an elite group. I am in the top 2% of the world's most content people. I try to avoid taunting as I address 98% of the world knowing that my life is better than yours.

I still like my wife and enjoy doing life with her. I like my kids and they bring joy to my house not stress. My jobs as a third grade teacher and a writer are challenging and pleasant. I have only a few enemies on the planet, but that alligator, Captain Crunch, is penned up in an Alabama swamp, and that squirrel in my back yard is too small to hurt me much.

This whole contented life is a result of the deal I made with God. I said I would do anything to know Him. It worked. I know God; His presence is just as noticeable in my every day life as any person's presence. And when I get together with a whole bunch of people who also want to know God, His presence is so strong that I seem to go away. I realize that I don't matter much and that is a wonderful realization.

Sal's was a direct descendant of Wellsville's first family, but Tad's family got there just a few years later. And that is why they both had to tell the story of Wellsville's first fire. Tad's Story Wellsville's First Fire On the third Thursday in February, two more stones fell out of the old chu...
