As long as I can remember, I have had a vivid and active imagination. As a child, I was the consummate daydreamer. I dreamed the most fascinating stories but never put anything in writing. Of course I kept diaries and still do today. And I wrote thousands of letters to pen pals in distant lands.
My mental creations kept me company anytime I was alone, as a result, I was never alone. I loved to read history, poetry and Shakespeare. I recall being able to recite the words to William Cowper's "The Diverting History of John Gilpin" and "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner" by Simon Taylor from memory as a young child. These are still some of my favorite poems.
Today, in addition to holding down a full time job, looking after my family and my dogs, I spend my remaining waking hours writing. I also like sewing, jewelry making, crochet, painting, gardening, candle making, soap making, writing, music and karaoke, golf, fishing and politics.
I have a Masters in Political Science, and degrees/diplomas in Social Sciences, Social Work and Adult Education.
