It's summer and I have to time to read and write! I'm a forty something English teacher working as a preschool teacher and loving it! I have 5 beautiful children and one beautiful husband. I've been published in some small presses and ezines and I'm glad to have found this site and will pass it on. Go Helium! Thank you Helium! A French Canadian software company saw one of my stories here and is going to publish it in an English as a Second Language textbook. Go Helium!
Parent You must be wise enough to know to make them stay will make them leave. You must know when to let them go. Yet, if they go you know you'll grieve. In youth they need you always near. When they turn teen, you're in the way. You miss the days you wiped their tears, you miss their hugs, warm sunshine rays. Yet, if you want them always close- don't push them out with clutching fists. It's love for them you feel the most, and to this you must attest: My child, I'll love you till I die. Try your wings out now, and fly!
