Words can change one's heart. A new heart can move one to change the world. Hi, my name is Ernie Smartt. Sixty plus years of hanging around people on this earth has carved images into my heart that will one day be planted on the pages of life-changing books. As a lifetime youth worker, given to the leadership of God, this little old man is ready to paint for the world a whole new chapter on love and hope.
With God's help, the events that these feet have walked through over the years will one day blossom into inspirational beauty that will attract and hold the minds and hearts many readers, motivating them to reach out to others with grace and hope, and helping hands.
Each chapter of my life has something in it that God has placed there. The good and the bad have been molded together in such a way that only good can come from them. This is God's promise as it is clearly written in Romans 8:28, "For we know that God works all things together for good to those who love God and are the called according to His purpose."
So, as a Husband, Father, Grandfather, educator, and prayerfully a molder of dreams, I dedicate this writing effort on Helium to all who have been and will be touched by His work in this little old man.
