I graduated from Singapore Polytechnic in 2003, with a Diploma in Electrical Engineering. I then spent the mandatory two and a half years that males in Singapore have to undergo serving in the army.
Came out, had a short stint working in the event management industry, and then worked as a Finanical Services Consultant in AIA. Left after a year, and after taking a long break in between, started writing fulltime and have now been writing for slightly more than a year.
I'm currently involved in the Yishun East YEC, a nonprofit grassroots organisation mainly involved in organising events that range from blood donation drives to kayaking and sport climbing courses.
I'm also quite active locally when it comes to xiangqi and chess events, and have co-organised quite a few competitons over the past few years.
On the surface it would seem that according to the theory of evolution, there would only be selfish people in this world,since time and other resources spent helping other people could have been utilised to better ensure one's survival.
