: About Me

Primarily interested in achieving something significant through artistic expression, whether by virtue of design, creation, or writing, as my interests have changed considerably regarding my perspective on life. I am still trying to convince myself, I am not 18 anymore, as I've just rounded the corner towards 40 years of age.

However, my dreams are alive and well, and I love to create, express, exchange, and share ideas that have a positive impact on society, peace, and reaching a higher sense of freedom with those who can appreciate such gifts.

In truth, I never imagined I would subject my philosophies or writings to any format of public display, but Helium has given me an outlet to express myself amidst many talented people, and the response has influenced me to explore my writing passions further.

A former pastor (whom I rarely got along with) actually played a huge part in my taking a leap of faith in writing, after he had read some transcripts I had accidently left behind in a notebook at church one weekend. He basically informed me that my grammar was lacking, however, he related the particular writings he read as being in similar context, and accord as those of Martin Luther (Diet of Worms, 95 Theses).

Although, I sincerely desire to publish some of my book ideas, poetry, and writings in the future, most of my articles, poetry, and writings submitted on Helium are those which are written on a whim, and created in the limited window of time I afford myself to escape from reality, and the pressures thereof.

Truly, in the right environment, and some mentoring, I believe my passion for writing could escalate into several avenues of opportunity. Yet to do so I fear would take my pleasure, and turn it into a chore. Thus, for now I'm just playing:)

~Journal Entry # 267~ July 21st, 2008 Sitting in the midst of evolution, unable to procure a solution, the intrusion of ignorance, hinders my mind. In the pale shadows, apparitions surround, whispering echoes, of a life without. It's rather uncanny, this inhumanity, but still it's as fresh, as when Adam and Eve roamed about. History repeats itself, the lessons unchanged, still we endeavor, to become enslaved. Conformity... A mind sharing harmony?, or a deceitful lie?, either way, it appears freedoms denied. I escape in the moment, raising my sword, my words cold and empty, as my anger fuel...
