I am a lifelong learner! Following a wonderful 34 year career as an educator I have turned my interests to writing and crafts. I have done some research articles for professional magazines and have written for church newsletters. Short stories and Christian topics are my current focus but I want to be challenged to explore my writing in a variety of styles and a range of subjects. Notes from an Amateur Golfer Someone said it was time to retire. Wow! What an amazing word: re-tire. Take off the old tires and put on the new ones. I packed up my books, cleaned out my desk and headed down to the pro-shop to purchase a set of golf clubs, bag and cart. 'Pro-shop': the word sent shivers down my neck. I was feeling lofty.
