About me - Thomas Edens

About me

I am married and have three children. I was born and raised in Central Florida, and other than a short period, I have lived in Florida my whole life. I have a technical degree in radio broadcasting but I haven't worked in the field for some years. I do still broadcast high school football games on a volunteer basis. I am scheduled to graduate in May 2010 with my AA and I have been accepted as a junior to the University of Central Florida where I will major in Political Science/Pre-Law.  My ultimate academic goal is to graduate from a prestigious law school.  Duke Law is my number one choice.

My passion is ...

conservative politics

I know too much about ...

the National Football League.

My parents always told me ...

to put one foot in front of the other until you get there.

My childhood ambition ...

was to play in the NFL. Not too many 5'8'' non-athletic types in the NFL, unless they can kick the ball through a brick wall.

My favorite memory ...

absconding with the rivals mascot in high school. I hoped to start a tradition, but no one followed up.

Why I write ...

I enjoy it, and I really enjoy selling articles.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

Bowie's Life on Mars

My first job ...

pin monkey at a bowling alley. It was a fantastic opportunity to watch people interact when they didn't know they were being observed.

My best moment ...

was the birth of each of my children.

My inspiration ...

again, are my wife and children. Everything I do, I do for them.
