: About Me

I am a Psalmist, a writer of music and sonnets. Music has always been my passion!  The birthing of a melody which flows through my soul usually is a melodic refrain I have never heard before.

The process of conception to its inscription from pen to paper is a challenging journey. There are moments of great inspiration where music and verse fall into place the first time played or written.  My instrumental arrangements are layered with, piano, strings, guitars, voicing. My meditation or soaking music I add the sounds of birds and water. 

I written a score of music called "A Moment in Time."  I knew the theme, word picture I wanted to paint, as it were.  I had created a story which I could not shorten to fit my melody.  To my surprise my undeveloped story became the first chapter of my Victorian novelette called;, of course, "A Moment in Time".  

I believe we never arrive at our destiny without the help of others; in turn we do the same for someone else.  There were established writers who encouraged me to try poetry and short stories.  My music is still a passion but writing has become almost as important. 

 A quill is used to expresses a writer's thoughts, as a musician colors their world with melodic cords, a painter brings life with his brush upon a canvas. Those with creative imagination paint beautiful word pictures. Words also are an expression of who we are, if I may, a fingerprint of the one's heart, a reflection of who we are and our values!

Retiring as an accountant enabled me to venture out into new pathways of writing.  I am blessed to get fresh ideas from a picture; just as I was able to pen music when I heard sounds.

I was an accountant for fifty years; who would have thought, even myself, I would venture out into the world of words!

I write because I believe I have something to say.  This has been a process, a learning curve, stepping stones into unfamiliar territory. 

I look at all the gifted writers on this site, many of whom are already professional.  You can glen a great deal from their writing. 

My friend Dossie encouraged me to return to Helium and try once more.  My first attempt on this site, I had no grammer skills at all, just thoughts and dreams.

 I trust when you read something of mine it shall bring beauty, laughter, and encouragement into your life.

Relationships are very important to God that is why he sent His Son, Yahshua. His gift of His love, can be passed on from one heart to another. Relationships are the most important thing to me. Let us keep each relationship we have been given, Evergreen,  filled with love and respect for each other always!

My passion is two-fold.. My commitment to God that what I do and say be what He has instructed me to do and say. My gift of music which is from Himself will honor Him and bless others.

I can never know too much about the Word of God which I hid in my heart.

Wanted to be a concert pianist.

Why I write ...

I have a need to write.. a pulling almost as strong as my music. A great desire to create beauty.

Listen to music, teaching of the Word of God by great teachers.

My first job ...

I did key-punching in the accounting department, became an accountant.

My best moment ...

The birth of my daughter. I had four miscarriages told I could not have a child.

My inspiration ...

My personal relationship with Yahweh and His Son.. this relationship changed my life, and in Him I am fullfilled, a destiny designed by His hand.
