I'm an ordinary girl with ordinary pastimes; pondering the infinite while operating heavy machinery, daydreaming while walking into walls, battling modern day dragons, immolation of the heart and other everyday sacrifices.
I am an adventurer. I used to move to parts unknown at the drop of a hat with one suitcase full of clothes, the other of writings. With little more save a plane ticket and a job offer.
Then, a methodical man found a genuis way to hook an impulsive girl with gypsy ways. He asked her to marry him soon after they met and to elope to Las Vegas to be married at The Chapel of Love drive through. With of course a stop at city hall. We didn't even stop for rings. And I told him the money for an engagement ring, which he wanted to buy belatedly in the form of a black diamond would be better spent on a large screen tv.
Six months later, we booked passage for a new addition to our family and I provided comfy transport for nine months then delivered him to the world. To set off on an adventure of a lifetime - motherhood.
My husband helped me transform my writing into less of a fire hazard rather then a hobby by buying me three accordian file boxes with which to file my writings - essays, short stories, poetry, sarcastic slogans and novelettes albhabetically. Now I just need to get off my procrastinating, as-phyxiating (drowning in planned projects)seat and get my work out there.
I'll start here and see where the road takes me.

As a writer, I'm often asked about it. Most often, How do I describe the act of writing? And, Why do I write? Excellent questions and I thought I'd take a few minutes to answer them in writing - the easiest way for me to communicate my ideas clearly.
The last is amusing to me, as I don't feel I have a choice, as you'll see. I was both born into and nurtured for it by the circumstances of my early life - that's a different story though. You can form your own opinion on it however.
As for how do I write, how do I come up with ideas and find the right words? Well,...
