Someone once described me on a birthday card as abhorrent, uncouth, impatient, petulant, vulgar, grumpy, ignorant, crabby, crude, impetuous, conceited, headstrong, cranky, annoying, self-centered, pessimistic, malevolent, merciless, impulsive, egotistic and vain, selfish, ironic, contemptible, sadistic, sarcastic, mean, hot-headed, spiteful, idiotic and callous, but yet charming.
I'd like to think of myself as the opposite of everything mentioned except the last point.
I strive to articulate clearly on the issues that are on my heart and answer the questions that I personally seek answers to but can find none that satisfy my queries.
Writing's always been a major part of my life and whenever I reach an impasse in the many faucets of life, I sit down, pick up my favourite pen, pull out my writing pad and do what my teachers first taught me to do- write.
Well, nowadays, the pen's been replaced by the keyboard, but the essence of writing remains the same. The emotions, the feelings, the sheer joy in writing- they can never be replaced.
If there is one thing that refuses to respect national borders, it is the environment that we live, and thrive in.
