I live in the beautiful Wenatchee Valley in Washington State. I have three grown daughters, a beautiful granddaughter, and a wonderful husband, who is a middle-school science teacher. I was born in Michigan, grew up in Ontario, Canada, and graduated from a small private college in Spring Arbor, Michigan. I met my Washington-born husband while teaching science and math in the Dominican Republic, and we settled in Washington State. Although I've held a valid teaching certificate since 1995, currently I'm working as a social worker. My mother taught me when I was young 'Only one life, 'twill soon be past, only what's done for Christ will last' and that is my motto.
