About me - Rikijeanne

About me

Born and raised in the beautiful OC of California. I spent 17 years working and managing a Hair Salon with my partner. Afterwards, I worked two jobs just to make ends meet. I was a part-time Legal Assistant at a local Law Firm, while also working full-time as a Credit Manager in downtown LA; until I was hit by a drunk driver. I am now semi-retired, and I have the time to accomplish my dream of being a writer. I always hoped to be writing stories for newspapers or taking someone elses thoughts and putting them into words for them, such as wedding vows.

Certain things can get stuck in my head and later turn into words expressed through poetry, lyrics and stories. I like to debate and I love to take a stand for the underdogs of this world. I believe a good writer can and should be able to look at things from different perspectives. I have published over 70 articles and poems on "Shelovesgod.com", which have been viewed by more than 55,000 people.

I love nature and it's scenery, it inspires me deeply. Since my accident, writing is the deepest expression of who I am, and how I see the world around me. I love to go camping, anytime of year and take pictures, which go with many of my writings. I love music, especially instrumental, it inspires words in my mind. Most of all, I love God and my family.
