About me - Kristen Alliegro

About me

Writing is and always has been one of my passions. My strongest area is freestyle poetry, but my prose is fairly decent and my research papers greatly improved while getting my degree in Psychology.

I also recently founded a non-profit community based organization, which is another of my passions. Education and Community Outreach are extensive areas of interest, whereas writing is a hobby. At one time, I had hoped to publish regularly, but life sort of took over and tied up the creative outlet. So, here I am. I'll probably touch on a variety of topic areas, testing my own skill level, expanding my horizons and challenging myself (I never could resist a good challenge!) and who knows - maybe add a few much needed dinero to my wallet. Someone said to me recently "You know, nonprofit work is exactly that". I don't think they could have been more accurate. ;-)
