I am a Christian, environmental steward, artist, herbalist, Aromatherapist, writer and poet. I have travelled extensively and am intrigued and captivated by cultures.my paintings can be viewed online at fineartamerica.com/chaline ouellet. I love creative cooking and working with herbs and essential oils to create a number of household, pet and personal care items that are free of toxins and dangerous chemicals found in mainstream products. I love organic gardening, growing flowers, food, herbs and medicinals.
I am a strong advocate for the homeless and underserved populations among us. I hope to learn valuable writing skills here and put those to use for something beneficial.

I am inspired by many things including pain, suffering, beauty, homelessness, poverty, the human condition, places, cultures, compassion, the ocean, mountains, desert, empty places, alone-ness.
Homelessness is a problem that has a multitude of layers associated with it. It is epidemic in what is often touted as the richest nation in the world. The answer to addressing homelessness is not found in social agencies, shelters, charities or programs. These are in place to meet the most basic needs.
