: About Me

I enjoy life, appreciating the little and big things that's given to you. More importantly, I truly enjoy making others smile, to laugh. Those stress breakers truly can bring out the 'good' in others when laughter, a warm smile is seen. Definitely a good feeling to have, besides, spreading it during these hectic times, times of despair, frustrations, depressions, etc.,. That's something I strive for.

I truly enjoy and love writing-more so for the fact that I am HoH (hard-of-hearing), I can hear and speak exceptionally well, also can sign.

After moderating two different Deaf Forums for almost 8-9yrs., I'm currently searching for ways to have my writings at an advantage whereas I can have more exposure as well as accepting criticism and encouragement. Arriving here in Helium, I hope to accomplish that and many other possible feats that'll benefit myself, also to gain new acquaintances through here. The rapport and rating among writers is indeed a vital key that can attribute to the success of my writing and all other writers.

I'll end with this:

words become useful when written.

My passion is ...

..making others smile, laugh. Also, writing poetry, currently striving to become an accomplished writer, whether it be in the form of articles, short stories.

I know too much about ...

..the world in between the hearing and the deaf. Sort of like straddling on a fence, yet, bridging the gap(s) between both worlds is a never-ending goal.

My parents always told me ...

..to treat others with the same kindness, courtesy, respect as you would care to also have returned.

My childhood ambition ...

..to be funny, to be popular (in a good way).

My favorite memory ...

..is the one when my father took the entire family to Hawaii a few months before he passed on.

Why I write ...

..because I truly enjoy all the benefits that writing gives to others as well as what it does for myself. I just love to write!

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

I enjoy reading a good mystery now and then, also, reading topics that touches the soul, such as situations where a few may be struggling with, situations where others have triumphantly overcome against all odds. Watching Nascar whenever I am able to, some football, other sports I will enjoy watching as well.

My first job ...

..delivering newspapers.

My best moment ...

..is a continuous one, knowing that the One above loves me for who I am and what I am capable of being. Some of my best moments are times when I've reached out and helped others, there's no greater feeling in the world such as that. Caring and showing kindness has created many many wonderful moments truly cherished. Now, my 'next' best moment would definitely be when an article or story of mine is accepted!

..to reach out to many whom can truly be inspired and touched by what I say or write.

Loneliness in the Heart- Burning desires grow yet no match for quivering aches the world around ignorantly blind while desperately trying to show the openess of one's heart tears washed away, again and again seams in the heart coming apart bleeding rivers echoing into the night moments by moments turning with frail whispering lonely thoughts come softly like gentle rain one set of footsteps along the trail clutching to the empty space beyond.
