I'm a 49 yr married guy w / two kids. I was born in Oxnard CA and grew up on the beach. My family still had a house there , so every now and then I go to party with my old friends. At least the alive one's who are left. We were a wild bunch. The beach lifestyle never leaves you, Its getting older that slows you down.
I was born with a gift. I'm what you would call "a gear-head". When I was old enough to hold a screwdriver, I started tearing apart anything I could get my hands on. I drove my parent's nut's. I used this talent all of my life, and still do. My insatiable appetite for knowledge has enabled me to have a very uncommon perspective of this world.
I eventually went into engineering. I started drafting the promoted to mechanical designer. I designed military tracked vehicles for F.M.C. and the U.S. Army. From there I went into environmental health & safety engineering, where I consulted for large, mostly semi conductor companies.
I spend most of my time now on my computer I built. I constantly find myself tweaking it to squeeze every bit of power it has without smoking it. I'm sure I'll find its limit when it does! I think I have good stuff in my head and I'm now attempting to give back to society. I think writing on the net is a good venue. I just hope I don't screw up and give someone bad info and get sued. That would really suck.
Well, I guess that's about it. I'm still learning to write. How ironic. of the many thing's I come up with in my head to design, and yet I can't even remember good grammar.
The question asked, how can you tell the difference between acids and bases, is written for the basic understanding of acids and bases. Describing in detail about chemical bonding, molecular structures and the forces acting upon those structures, it is best left for another article. A reader having the ability to understand such details has acquired a higher knowledge than this article provides. Lets take a look at what an acid and a base is. Our world is governed by laws and forces of nature. Our specie forever, will quest to discover and learn what they are. &nb...
