I'm a single, 28 year old writer. All the girls flock to me. Ok, not really, but I have hopes. I have two wonderful boys, ages 6 and 5. To trust someone is one of the most selfless things you can do. It takes a certain amount of love for that person to be able to extend yourself enough to risk emotional scarring and betrayal. My philosophy has always been to give someone new the benefit of the doubt, then after time, the possibility of earning my trust. Trust, however, can sometimes be quite similar to love, as in, sometimes it just happens. You get to know someone and you immediately feel confident enough to trust them.
