I have always loved writing. While my professional work has focused on business - from banking to administrative to self-employment - I'm putting my knowledge to work at Helium. My first love, writing, is now my profession as well.
I write extensively in business areas where I have direct professional experience: mortgage brokering, buying and refinancing homes, reducing debt, improving credit scores, and home improvement. I've also written marketing assignments along with video scripts. My research skills enable me to write effectively on countless topics.
On a more personal note, I'm married, the mother of 3 teens, and a Las Vegas native. In addition to informative material, I have a penchant for writing memoirs, reflections, and fiction. I enjoy decorating, reading, cooking, camping, and good movies.
They say to write what you know. I've experienced the birth of 3 children, a painful divorce, the death of my father, the re-birth of my mother, a second marriage, having money and not having it, and teaching teens to drive - yes that counts as a life-changing event.
I believe any experience is worth learning from and writing about. And I believe it's okay to end a sentence with a preposition and start a sentence with and or or.
