I recently graduated from Brigham Young University with my B.A. in English with an editing minor. I had a cute little girl in January and now I'm a stay-at-home-mom who gets to write for fun. I'm currently working on a young adult fantasy novel and having fun with my blog, Typing With My Toes (http://karenmkrueger.wordpress.com).
My passion is ...
words
I know too much about ...
I'd like to say I know a lot about books and music...but know TOO much, not a chance :)
My parents always told me ...
"I don't know if you can, but you may" :) Bless their hearts.
My childhood ambition ...
I wanted to be an Egyptologist. Yah. And I knew what that word meant too.
My favorite memory ...
Reading the Chronicles of Narnia to my little brother.
Why I write ...
To make those cool things I see in my head become real.
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
I'm trying to read all those books I've never gotten around to yet-usually it ends up being children's books; I tend to get hooked on watching House, Monk, or Chuck (must have a fettish for shows with one-named men); my standard listening library consists of Josh Groban and fun broadway stuff :)
My first job ...
A clerk in the General Store at Stone Mountain Park in Georgia...I got to wear period clothing and everything!
My best moment ...
Hmm...probably a combination of all those moments I spent laughing histerically with my best friend during my freshman year in college; Oh, and my wedding day of course :)
My inspiration ...
My husband and the Jumbo Pen he gave me for Christmas '07
