I like truth. I like raw, edgy, satirical, heart warming and inspirational writing. Brain, Child mag is an example. I admire Anne Lamott's voice, Bombeck, Kingsolver. I started as a sort of sad tween, writing my thoughts and feelings through poetry. Essay writing is my favorite genre, although I write/publish features/articles as well.
I wrote about my feelings during post-partum depression and my experience of being a full time at mom (grateful but hated it). I love gift writing to my friends and family. Spirituality and grace really move me.

But the upside to getting chronically lost is I've learned to be less self-conscious about such trivial failings. The truth is, no one really cares much that I'm bumbling around the mall parking lot looking confused, unless I want them to care. And if I want them to care, I just ask for help. I've dec...
