About me - Ben Grunfeld

About me

"Identity is the Catalyst of Action."

From a very young age, my father brought me into the family business and started me working in the factory, making boxes for the cakes they produced. This continued until I found my own employment, and led me to believe that being industrious and productive are essential elements of being a good and happy person.

This has nothing to do with capitalism or the search for material gain, but rather the working nature of mankind. I felt just the same way while volunteering in the far east picking fruit and digging at an archaeological site.

But philosophy aside (for an exceptionally brief moment) spending my early and teenage years in factory and market offices gave me a fantastic insight into the intricacies and exceptional beauty of small enterprise, corporate relationships and personal finance.

In time, I was made a project manager in the factory and given 10-30 workers to manage special assignments with. Cakes turned into cooking and before I knew it, I was leading operations of mass-production cooking, leading tens of Vietnamese and Korean laborers who didn't speak English to cook tons of asparagus, carrots and pasta sauce for companies like Heinz, Birds-Eye and McCain's.

Ever since, I have been fascinated by human development and growth, and feel a deep-seated need to share the lessons I've learned with others, the same way that my father shared his lessons with me.

Close to the end of my cooking and management career, I developed a love for writing. Conveying essential and useful information became an important part of my life, and I found that besides producing profound and intelligent works, it was also important to communicate in terms understandable to your target audience.

Tone and vocabulary must suit the reader, not just the writer, no matter how fancy we feel like being. This is the secret to the inter-personal relationship that exists between author and audience.

So on this philosophical basis I will endeavor to provide the highest quality that my capabilities enable to my clients, hoping for a long and fruitful cohesion of corporate conspiracy.
