Born male in '57 in the Midwest, grew up in the Midwest, lived a portion of my adult life in the Midwest, so you could say I am a Midwesterner but I prefer to claim myself as a this place person. Currently I reside in So. Cal. in the LA area and have lived in Florida, Texas and Illinois and the great state of Michigan as well. I live in a small community about 75 miles northwest of LA with my wife of 24 years and our 2 dogs.
I spend way too much time playing, practicing, watching and day dreaming about golf, I got bit by the bug about 30 years ago and even though I have tried through the years to give it up I just can't shake the habit.
I became interested in this site after reading about it in my local newspaper and the concept struck me as original and I like original, weather it's people, places or things.

It's fun, I like the research part of writing and then putting it all together with some sort of slant or take that is fun and easy on the eyes and brain.

Reading Every Shot Has a Purpose, Watching too much golf and basketball on TV and not listening to enough good R& B because I am too busy with the other stuff.
