I'm an unplublished writer of romance.   During my researched of popular novels, I have discovered that there are eight plots that are still sure to work great. The first plot is a marriage of convenience, the hero and heroine don't like each other but they each need something from the other, for example the heroine needs to get married before her 21 birthday to inherit 1 million dollars and the hero needs a loan to buy out his partner's half of the business, before his partner sells to some big time investor who would ruin the company.
