I am a professional cosmetologist and an amateur photographer. My husband and I have been married for more than eleven years, and I love him more now than I ever thought I could love anyone. I have one sister who I highly respect. She is a wonderful loving mother of two. I also have one brother who can make me laugh even in my darkest times. My mom and dad are my biggest fans, and I would not be here today with out all of their love and support. I have three funny kitties, one goofy yorkie, and a very cool turtle. This is my first time writing for an article. I have always loved to write in my spare time. Writing makes my mind feel free. I hope you enjoy reading all of my articles. They may not be the most eloquent, but they all come from my heart!

my mom. If I can just be half the woman she is my life will be wonderful.

Fatty, piggy, ugly, repulsive, these are just a few of the names that I have heard in my life as an obese person. Obesity has been a part of my life since childhood. I cannot clearly remember a time when I felt "skinny." In fact, this word is like poison in my ears, for I know it is something I will never truly achieve.
