I'm the kind of person who never stops learning or looking for answers. Everything about life and the world excites me and I feel constantly challenged to understand people, our place in the world, our relationships with each other and our relationship to the earth.
I have two amazing kids that I wouldn't trade for anything in the universe. They have taught me more about life and love than any class, book or relationship combined. Every day they unfold around me. Watching them grow and learn is a privilege.
In previous incarnations (i.e. before motherhood) I worked as a librarian. I've also worked in graphic design, have a degree in Fine Arts, have worked in an overseas U.S. Consulate, and even worked on a hot air balloon crew. My ex-husband spent 10 years in the Air Force and I felt like that opened up new worlds to me, new challenges and opportunities to try new things.
We've traveled, learned new languages and met some really amazing people.
I've lived in a lot of different places and that has changed my worldview. I've lived in five different states and two European countries (Italy and Portugal). During that time, I traveled to as many different locations as time and finance would allow. I wouldn't trade those experiences for anything!
Basically, I'm an advocate for life: people, animals, plants, earth, the universe; whatever and however it manifests, I'm there wanting to know, aching to learn.

Almost like I'm swimming in paste My hand goes out In front of my face I see myself I know I'm here I walk these streets I have no fear. Everyone else they don't seem real I'm not in touch with how I feel The bullets whiz by I duck my head Look to the ground to see who's dead. Back at home They crowd around me They've no idea Just what I've seen. I can't relate Just sit and stare No place for me Not here nor there. A car door slams I dive to the floor My buddies laugh They cry for more. They wanna hear About my crimes How many I killed During my time. They've no idea Just who I am They thi...
