I am a 23 year old Brit, living on the west coast of Florida. Horses are my passion, as you will see from some of my articles. They are also my source of income, as I ride and care for racehorses. Aside from that I am the Executive of Cloud 9 Horse Sanctuary, which is in the beginning stages of becoming a 501 ( c) (3) not-for-profit charity. We, as the title suggests, rescue and care for horses who are otherwise unwanted and potentially bound for slaughter.
Writing is a prominent hobby of mine, and I tend to write only what I know - which narrows it down... Animals first and foremost, especially my wonderful menagerie of pets, who will no doubt crop up a time or two in my scribblings. There's a couple of other topics too, none of which spring to mind.
Extreme Beatles fan that I am, I love music! I consider myself to be quite eclectic, since I love anything from the Beatles to Guns N' Roses to Queen, Oasis, James Blunt, Keane, Black Sabbath, Stones, Simon and Garfunkel... the list goes on... Anything pretty much except bubblegum pop and hip hop. Can't stand that.
My dream is to ride (and win!) the Aintree Grand National... I believe in aiming high! And why not.
My passion is ...
Horses, Horse racing and The Beatles!
My parents always told me ...
"Good Horses make Good Jockeys!"
My childhood ambition ...
Emphasis on Childhood - I wanted to be a bird or a tractor.
My favorite memory ...
Riding Rambo Waltzer - the horse who taught me how to fly...
Why I write ...
To share my thought and opinions, excersize my imagination and speak up for the little guys, ie. Animal Rights and such.
My first job ...
Waitress at a hotel
My best moment ...
Probably, again, riding Rambo.. I was so proud!
My inspiration ...
Animals and their comical natures! And Music.
