About me - Brother James

About me

I center life around my first loves, God, church, family, and friends. They are dependable and supportive towards me. I often think of them and they are always in my heart. I also love me some Iowa Hawkeyes, (any sport), St.Louis Cardinals and Chicago Whitesox. The three amigos have recently fulfilled me in our otherwise long suffering relationships. The University of Iowa, my alma mater, won its 23rd N.C.A.A. wrestling championship in 2010. The Whitesox (2005) have won a World Series recently.Hurray for the comeback Cardinals winning it all in 2011. I am a fan win or lose.

I seek to witness on behalf of Jesus Christ via the written word. I do not necessarily preach, however my literary endeavors are influenced by a Christ centered, biblically inspired viewpoint that is colored by my personal life experience. To that end, I write to challenge believers to "think outside the pews" as it relates to the gospel message and to sow the gospel seed to the not yet converted by producing a panorama of literature that ranges from magazine style articles to poetry. Writing is what I do.
