About me

I really enjoy writing for Helium. Helium has given me an great opportunity to write and share my articles for other people to read. Helium has helped improve my writing skills.
One day when I was working one my job as a cerified, registered dental assistant the Chief of the dental service asked me would I like to write some articles on dentistry for the employee's newspaper because she knew how much I enjoy teaching patients and employees how to take better care of their teeth. I also was incharge of placing dental brochures in the waiting area and putting on dental displays for dental assistant week. I retired from the S.F.V.A. Medical Center after working there for 30 years. But what I really missed about from working on my job is writing articles for the employee's newspaper. So, one day when I was home browsing through my computer on the internet, I came across Helium-Where Knowledge Rules. What really caught my interest was ; How would you like to earn money by reading, writing and rating articles? That sounded like something I would like to do, so I joined Helium that same day and I have been writing every since. What I really like to Helium is that it has so many great topics for to write about and you can also create you own titles. Helium makes you feel so good to know that their are people reading and rating my articles. Some people have even gave me feed back on their likes and dislikes about my articles and how they enjoyed reading them. And I have learned that the more I have been writing my articles the more knowledgeable I have become. I would like thank Helium for allowing me to write for them and a special thanks to all of the members for reading and rating my articles.

I wrote this story about my life when I was 18 years old. My mother was a single parent when she raised me and I think she did a pretty good job. Whenever I needed anything like, clothes, a new pair of shoes or tennis shoes, money to buy my lunch,or money to play video games with my friends she would always make sure that I got what I needed. What I liked most about my mom was that she never hardly bought herself anything to wear, because she didn't go out much except, to church or over to my grandmom's house. And since she worked as a dental assistant she did not need to by any clothes for...
