: About Me

My name is Steve and I live in South Florida, although I am originally from New York. Well, technically I only lived in NY until I was 5. I'm a UF grad. Go GATORS!

I've been writing for quite a while, but never on a consistent basis or in anything like this. I've performed at poetry slams which I did greatly enjoy. I stopped performing because the scene became too predictable. I love creativity and it's flare. I look forward to reading some good writing on Helium and I hope you will enjoy the pieces I submit.

You can expect a spiritual slant in all of what I write as well as a tinge of politics. I am also moved by scientific perspective, especially quantum physics. I am not a quantum physicist or a scientist by trade. So I will always encourage readers to research what I write about.

If nothing else, I hope my submissions get you to think above and beyond the ordinary. Hopefully you'll find a new thought there that may very well change your life.

Stepping out on Faith Stepping out on faith is one of the most abused statements in American rhetoric. It's been abused by the seemingly religious as well as the cynical.
