I'm currently attending high school and I enjoy it immensely. I take AP classes along with Spanish and Anatomy . My favorite subject is my AP English class, I love to read Jane Austen and Nathaniel Hawthorne. My favorite past time is to write poetry, I love reading it even more, Emily Dickinson inspires much of my own works. Here's a big twist, I want to go to college and major in Drug and Alcohol Counseling, a bit of a change from the "artistic" idea that was taking place. Currently I am an active member in Poetry Club which I am the president, FBA Club (Future Builders of America, which is currently only in Florida but will be spread soon) which I am the secretary, and BETA Club. In this past year I won 2nd place in our local college writing contest for a short story. I also won 1st place in the science fair two years ago and 2nd this past year. Our school also holds a "Festival of the Arts" which I won 3rd in the "Poetry Collection" category, 3rd in the "Portfolio" category which mine consisted of a poem, a short story and a narrative essay, and I won 1st in the "Narrative Essay" category which had a different essay than what existed in my portfolio.
