Direct versus Indirect fundraising
One could argue that working for a non-profit in any capacity means that, on some level, you are fundraising. Engaging in the work of your mission, creating your newsletter, updating your website, attending networking or other public events, all of these activities either put you in front of potential donors, or affect your image or relationship with existing or potential donors.
