About me - Jane Rutherford

About me

With years of writing experience, I decided to build a more diverse portfolio here on Helium.

I first published one of my short stories when I was 16 and ever since then, I kept improving my writing skills.
I write advice columns and how-tos for fiction writers ranging from creativity questions to tips on how to get published.

Outside of the Internet, I work at one of the best technical Universities in Europe in the International Affairs Office, where I deal with International Students, Exchange Programs and other administrative challenges of a day-to-day University life.

Because of my hobbies I have a vast knowledge of entertainment industry from tv to movies and I tend to comment on the current developments in that field. I also write about online opportunities to earn money.

However I believe that I can get myself familiar with any topic in a short period of time as my research skills are very high and I'm always eager to learn new things.

Outside of writing I'm pursuing a degree in social sciences (Sociology and Criminal Psychology). I also enjoy graphic design and other creative arts.
