I got into podcasting at the end of 2007 when I realized that the podcast format is so wonderful for learning a new language. I saw the potential for Hebrew, particularly because there are so few resources available for learning to speak conversational Hebrew as spoken in Israel. In February 2008, my wife and I launched hebrewpodcasts.com - the first website for learning Hebrew by podcast.

Of all the intellectual pursuits, perhaps the most rewarding is the study of a new language different from your native tongue.
