: About Me

I am a single guy from Jeffersonville, Indiana. I'm 26 years old. I have been through many trials and tribulations in my short life and continue to go through them as of now.

On December 27th, 2003, my five week old daughter Marissa and her mother Kayla died in a housefire. I was not home at the time of the incident or I would have been able to get them out. Then on my birthday September 25, 2004, my grandmother died. On December 10th, 2007, my best friend in the world Samantha died in a car crash, she fell asleep at the wheel.

I know that there is always someone out there that has life worse than I do, but this is a lot to deal with at my age. Not to mention that I have scoleosis, six bulging discs in my back and two protruding discs in my back, one on the right side and one on the left.

Not only do I have to deal with psychological pain, but I deal with physical pain everyday. Somedays I wake up and ask God why I have to endure such strife, but I know that we all have our own crosses to bare in life and unfortunately this is mine.

I'm a great guy, would do anything for anyone and through everything that I have endured I still have a positive outlook on life. I only hope that by reading this, it can bring some hope to other people that are going through trying times.

I grew up in a two bedroom house with thirteen people. Privacy was unheard of in my home. My Father left when I was three months old and my Mom started running to the bars when I turned about three. Thank God I have wonderful grandparents that took on the responsibility of raising me. Without them, I don't know where I'd be today. Growing up wasn't easy as I was teased a lot because I had to wear hand me down clothes and my family didn't have enough money to put braces on my teeth.
