: About Me

Hi! I am Marilyn and I am 37 years old,I live in Olcott,NY. I can write almost anything but mostly things to make you think,and I write poetry.I have 3 daughters and a husband 4dogs,2cats,4turtles and fish,I am also a certified nursing assistant, I usually have no time to myself and that is why I became a member of Helium. I fully give myself to other people and because of that writing is who I am. It is how I follow my intrests and figure me out. I also write like I talk and sometimes I go on and on.

to fix jumbled thoughts or just to write

I read more to research on current intrests,I listen to all music and I watch about 2 hours of tv a week if I am able.

For paycheck: work as a CNA; REAL JOB:becoming a mom at 19.

My inspirations change with interests, but in general my family inspires both the best and worst in me.

I have always loved houseplants, although flowering houseplants used to evade me. I decided one day to buy my first African Violet. I did not have any type of green thumb, so i thought for sure I would kill this plant. It was a very pretty plant dark green leaves and dark purple flowers. I brought it home and immediately re-potted it. I did not know that for these plants to flower they prefer to be root-bound. I then proceeded to water it just like any other plant,wish the grocery store had told me NOT to get the leaves wet. I also had no clue about the lighting; needless to say by the end...
