hELLO THERE!

I am originally from Italy, ROME: a splendid city which I visit very often to keep in touch with my family. I moved abroad many years ago, I lived and travelled to different countries until deciding to settle here in UK (for a while?).

I have a serious passion for writing, photography, travelling, art, poetry, fitness, energy healing and anything related to self-improvement.

I am an avid reader and my interests can span widely across disciplines. I have a great passion for researching and I am currently embarking in a long and exiting PhD journey, investigating into the effect of advertising on children's assimilated values and role models.

Guido is 7 years old now and he's -of course -the centre of my universe. I read anything I can on children development and education, so I'll be likely to write something around these subjects as well sooner or later... I also love writing funny stories for children and one of my children books has been already published back in March 2009; the next one will be out soon during summer 2010 .

Ops! I should spare a word about my loyal and very patient man, Iqbal, who should win a star for making me laugh and growl more than any other man before.

I always read 3 or 4 books at time: I find it easier to diversify my options as my interest and attention can vary widely according to my mood. I am currently reading books on art photography, one on artist's psychology, Dreams from my father by Barack Obama, and one on bilinguism for my son Guido. Watching favourites are foreign /art movies & documentaries. Last to remember "The Kite Runner", a movie that got me in tears. Dina Washington now on my player.
