Cindy Shanks is a Primary School teacher in the U.K. As an avid reader she enjoys reading a wide range of genres including poetry, historical novels, thrillers and children's literature which she reviews for Helium. The Mystery of the Spiteful Letters, by Enid Blyton was first published in 1946 and is the fourth adventure of the Five Find-Outers and Buster the dog. In this novel the children have to try and discover who is sending anonymous letters. The novel begins with one of Fatty’s amusing disguises. He tricks the children and Mr Goon when he dresses up as a telegraph boy.
